Music Director - Jody Schnell

Jody Schnell is well known in Northwest Florida as a consummate performer, teacher and musician. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a performance degree in voice, she traveled the world with her Air Force husband and family, conducting and singing in a variety of churches and military chapels.

Jody has lived in Panama City since 1996 and currently serves as as Choral Music Director at Moseley High School. She also teaches voice and piano and serves as music director at First Presbyterian Church. Her career has touched the lives of thousands from Panama City, FL to Carnegie Hall. The Pro Arte Chorale of Northwest Florida is her latest inspired undertaking.

Accompanist - Lois Van Dam

Lois Van Dam is a music professor at Northwest Florida State College (formerly Okaloosa-Walton College) where she conducts the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorale, the women's acapella ensemble Belle Voci, and teaches piano and voice. In addition, she teaches Advanced Placement Music Theory at Niceville High School and serves as organist at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Destin.

Lois has an extensive background as a pianist, organist, and conductor. A native of Philadelphia, she completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in piano performance as well as graduate organ studies. She studied orchestral conducting with Jeffrey Rink and choral conducting with Donald Kendrick of the University of California, Sacramento.

Prior to moving to Niceville from Boston, Lois performed frequently with Boston's Chorus pro Musica in concert as a soloist and accompanist. While on the faculty of Eastern Nazarene College, she conducted the school's Choral Union and Orchestra and also prepared Boston's Chorus pro Musica for performances with the Boston Pops and the Pittsburgh Symphony.
